Just wanted to introduce myself here. I have been playing Yamaha arranger boards for ages now but sadly have not cracked 20% of the features available. Just bought a Genos and it frustrates the living daylights out of me. I know reading up on this forum will help solve many a frustration!

Trevor, your list of instruments suggests you have a soft spot for organs. Had a few through the years and still have my 1982 Yamaha DK-40, which I have owned from new. I still use a Roland PK 6 MIDI pedal set. That is if i can get it to play anything else than lower octave piano as I have not mastered the mysteries of MIDI. Still, it keeps me pedaling!
I currently live in Mongolia having been transferred here. Travelling with a set of pedals and a keyboard is just easier. The music scene here in Mongolia is quite vibrant. Some great musicians here and i get to play with them often (mostly guitar) Just wish the winter was a bit warmer....

You are right about me having had a good number of organs. Very observant of you.
I used to be a theatre organ enthusiast and travelled all round the UK in my younger days to hear concerts and in some cases actually play these marvellous instruments.
I love my Genos but still need to learn a lot about its capabilities.
This is a fantastic Forum and there is always someone available to give help and advice.

I love the Mongolian throat singing sound...gives me shivers every time.
