Hi,
Is there a way to change time signatures during step recording? I am working on a song that are using both 4/4 and 2/4 signatures.
Genos also doesn't seem to allow me to change the style variation in the middle of a bar, so it become a bit of a pain when I cannot change the time signature.
Thanks & Mary Christmas

Yes it is possible
Set the time controllers you want
The keyboard plays a whole measure but it breaks after 2 counts instead of playing the 4 counts

Hi Janus,
I am not at the Genos at the moment, but do you mean it is possible to add signature changes in the song or is this a workaround for inserting style variation in the middle of the bar in step-record?
If you have time, could you explain exactly what I need to do to achieve this? I am not exactly sure what the time controllers is?
Thanks

a time controller set the 4-4 2-4 or 3-4 or any other combination
you can find the first one at the start
set the 2-4 at same place as the score in the steptime track
set the 4-4 behind the 2-4 to go back to 4-4
you can set the style variations the places you want

Thanks Janus,
I will try this as soon as I'm in front of the Genos again :)

I'm in front of the Genos now, but I must be blind because I cannot find the option to change the time signatures in the chord track.
I've only have the following options: Section, Chord, Tempo, S.Vol, CH.Vol and OnOff.
I also searched the owner and reference manual for the word "time controller" but the only match was "real-time controller"
Thanks again.

I think I found it now. If I choose the SysEx track in StepEdit, I can see time events there. I will try to experiment with this ;D
Thanks
