Hi
I’ve downloaded the playlist file to a USB and successfully have the registrations playable on the Genos. The playlist is also there showing the names but if I try and load a song name from the playlist view I get an error message saying “File name not found or file name is inappropriate “
Any idea how to solve this please and I’m interested in knowing what causes this
Many thanks
Steve

Hi Steve
The playlist download also gives you a detailed set of instructions for installing. These need to be followed VERY Carefully.
The playlist is a very simple set of instructions to load the registrations.
These Registrations need to be in exactly the same position as they were intended. Make sure the folder is in the root directory and there is only the one USB Stick inserted.
The way I do my playlist is to put all the registrations in a folder on the USER Area, then
Create a new Playlist and then select all the registrations in that folder to put in the Playlist.

Thanks I’ll take another look at the instructions. Thought I knew how to do it but clearly not!

Sorted thanks. I had copied the whole folder in rather than exclude the read me file...

The same happened to me. Worked in the second try. ;)

As with the other playlists we had from Yamaha the new playlist mist be on the same USB and be the first USB in the keyboard so that it is always USB1. I have a USB fitted on the underneath slot and always make sure that on switch on I do not have any other sticks in. Works fine for me.

You all can use Genos Playlist Worker, to batch edit playlist and change the location of all registration into user. Also you have to copy the registration folder from USB to User, and that's it.
