Hello everybody.
My name is John and i have been using Genos for over a year and so.Thats how long i've beem following the forum.
Im trying to create my own styles because in the country that i live in, (Greece) i dont have alot of options.

Im using CUBASE and STYLEMAGIC which is the only app that process SFF2.
While i was researching i found a program https://www.slideserve.com/joy/expansion-style-editor
It is a power point presentation and here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qpkrd3kqsI&t=1429s is a guy using it.
EXPANSION STYLE EDITOR
What do you know about this app? (from what i heard its something internal from YAMAHA) or does something else exists that's similar

Hi John,
the program shown in the Camaro video is a Cubase Plug-in, called "Stylist". It is a Style and CASM / CTab Editor, and only professional, Yamaha authorized Style programmers can get it (directly from Yamaha).
The PowerPoint presentation pictures describe some important details one has to know to program Yamaha Styles.
Unfortunately, the "Stylist" (Yamaha Expansion Style Editor) is NOT available for us "normal" users ... :(

Wow... I did not know about this program and the Cubase plugin..
Sad that we cannot use such a thing... is it very easy as I see :'(

What does a professional programmer mean? I don't understand.
Its not about some secret operating code.Its about just STYLES where someone does his hobbies and another one his work,when someone creates better styles than the other one, one keeps it for himself and the other one sells them.It makes no difference.
Yamaha gives you the ability to create you're own styles,but in a difficult way.I've changed the USB stick 100 times from my PC to my instrument until i get satisfied with my result.I see it as punishment.
Nevermind,I would like with the upcoming update to also update the minds of Yamaha's management team.
