Title: problem moving from one variation to another
Post by: hans1966 on October 28, 2019, 04:06:17 AM
Hi Guys, I'm having trouble moving from one variation to another by recording a specific channel for a song. For example: I am recording on channel 12 only the accompaniment of an electric guitar, of the 6-8 Slow Rock style in variation 2 after about 15 measures there is a break, then I stop the recording and then resume recording in the Measure 18 but I want it to change to variation 4, then I press the button of variation 4, but it immediately returns me to variation 2 and does not allow me to change. How can I solve this problem? Is there a variation controller that can be introduced into a predetermined channel of an existing song? Thanks in advance for your advice. Hans

Make a copy the style and save it to your USER section.

Delete the guitar Part in Variation 3.

Then start the recording using Variation 2 and about measure 15 switch to variation 3 for the break (silence). Then at measure 18 switch to variation 4.  You might also want to turn the FILL IN button to OFF.

That ought to work for you.

Regards
Drake
