Hello friends!
I have recorded my first MIDI song on the Genos, and I would like to call it up again, or play some of the songs I have on the USB drive, but I don't find the file selection display for songs. I press the SONG button, but no file selection display.
I am a complete newbie to Genos, got it some hours ago!

Sounds like one of 2 things... you either didn't save the MIDI (and thought you did) or you forgot where you saved it TO (which drive it is saved on).

Hi Toril
It’s a touch screen
When you touch the "MIDI’ on the home screen
It takes you to the Midi Page where you have a choice of ‘ Preset, USER, USB’ etc
Hope this will help you

Hi Toril,
I learn a lot from the videos posted on www.keyboard-akademie.de
I put some English subtitles in their video about Recording and Saving a midi song.
It also mentions where the recorded Midi is saved.
You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/d2f_qGmR5mE
PS: in the Operator's Manual you'll find it on page 72 to 85
Greetings,
Stijn

Thanks Joe H, Pino and Stijn! I did not see that it was on the home screen.

Hello Toril,
Welcome to the Genos Family. It will take a little time to get used to the touch screen and how some things are done but we are always here to help.

Thanks Eileen! I am sorted now, at least with this issue. I really LOVE THE GENOS!!!!! But I will most likely pester you with questions now and then, I will try not to be a nuisance :)

You are very welcome Toril.

Thank you for that Eileen :)

Toril,
One of the best features of the Genis is it’s search capability.
Whenever I can’t find where I put something, I just search for it. Search will return results in all folders and all connected drives.
It also works with presets, like styles, which Yamaha have a bad habit of not putting in alphabetical order.
Cheers,
Fred

Thanks Fred! Good to finally have a search feature!
