Hi folks.
I've being searching in the tutorial lessons for the way to record a song in WAV or MP3 format but all lessons are explaining for Tyros 2, 3, 4, and 5. My keyboard is PSR S950. I need an easy way to record in the PC. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I think the 950 flows you to record an MP3 directly on the keyboard. You just select it, but you will need enough memory to record it, probably onto a memory stick.

Hello Pmedina. You can record VAW but not MP3 on the keyboard.
Just connect a USB stick to your keyboard, go into the recorder and press the red button, then the start/stop when you want the recording to start. For converting to MP3 I use the free program Audacity, with a "plug in" program called lame. Your recording is automatically saved to your USB stick on the keyboard, so just take it to your PC, open Audacity, import the file and convert it to MP3.

On page 54 of your manual it starts explaining how to record a song. Make sure you have a USB stick attached with nothing else on it or you can run into 'error and STOP'.
It is quiet easy, but you will have a trial and error. The recording is very good on the 950.
Have fun and succes.

Does the Keyboard support MP3 playback?
-
No.

Only Wav files

On the S-950 you can playback both wav or mp3 files with the Audio Recorder/Player...(page 64 of the owner's manual).
But you can only record your song as a wav audio file, then, if you want it as an mp3, use a free online file converter like the one Toril has mentioned.

I was wondering for the PSR 750.
I carelessly posted it here
Without reading carefully that this post is for 950

Understood Norman - and as I think you now know, you cannot playback mp3's on the S-750.

For years I have been using this free software: www.nchsoftware.com Give it a look. I record on my T4 in Wav format. Download the Wav music to a music file on my computer. Then I go to the NCH site I have saved on my computer and add the file to the NCH program and convert it to MP3. The program will ask where do you want to transfer the MP3 file....I transfer it to the file containing the WAV file. The file now contains both the Wav and MP3 files. That's how I have been able to add over 80 songs in MP3 format to my Youtube account. Flip
