Title: Converting Registrations

Hi Folks,
I have both T2 and T5
I have many more Bought registrations for the T5 than I have for the T2
Has anyone converted T5 registrations to T2
If so could you let me know how you did it
If not and you think it is a silly idea I will still be pleased to know

I would think that Murray's program is your best bet. It deals with all keyboard models. There will be quite some missing voices etc because you downgrade the rgt's.
Give it a try, it won't hurt.

Look in the Utilities section of the main Psrtutorial site for Murray best's Yamaha Registration Manager.

From my experience Tyros 5 registrations do not work on the earlier Tyros models.   I have a 1 as well as a 5 and my Tyros 5 registrations do not work on the 1.   I am pretty sure I am giving you the correct information.

Hi Melodies, did you try Murray's Best converting program? Both models are mentioned in it the T2 and the T5 also T1 so I would think a convert is possible between those. Not knowing for sure as I don't have the RGT's mentioned neither a T5. Interesting to know if it works.

I just converted from my PSR950 RGT's (close to T5) to T1 and T2 and it worked without a problem.

I'm familiar with the Yamaha Registration Manager.
If you like I can convert some of your T5 registrations to Tyros 1 registrations so you can find out if they work.
