Hi all Genosphils !
I have a user style having a BPM=112.
I want to slowdown the Ending1.
So, I open the style creator. I choose Ending1 section. And there, I enter the value 60 for the tempo. Then I save the style under the same name.
When I play the Ending1, it don't work. What am I missing ?

Hi,
I think when you change the tempo it will have an effect on the whole style, in Tyros you can slow down the tempo by pushing the ending button twice (or more) the tempo will slowdown. Another way is to manage that in MixMaster where you can give each part of a style the tempo you like.

Is that confirming that the Genos Style Creator can't do a tempo change for a section ?

Luluc, Why would you want to change the tempo of a section?

If style creator does not give what you want, you would need to use registrations to switch the section and simultaneously adjust the tempo (plus anything else) .

There are many preset style with multi tempo changes to the endings.
If you want to insert tempo changes to a style then as Piet says
Go to MixMaster or StyleMagic event editor,

John told you the simple and easiest way.Use a Registration. It would take less than a minute to do.

Sure, if it’s a one time use style for a song then registrations is the quickest way to go.
If your looking for multi tempo changes for an ending,
eg ‘Worship Slow’ E2 has 4 tempo changes, - a very nice style, ‘Wonderful Tonight’ etc.
Then you will need to go the ‘midi event editor’ way.

I have to slow down the Ending 1 because when you have a style at BPM=112, one single bar ending is too short to get a natural decay.
It works fine with the software MixMaster. It is a pity we have to use an external software for for doing this change. I thought it was possible with Style creator...unless somebody knows how to proceed.
-
Nope, can't do that with the STYLE CREATOR.

Thanks DrakeM, so things are clear re. Style Creator . I did my change via the MixMaster software and it works fine.
