Title: S975 "PLUS" category built into the SX900?

Looking at the SX900 data list, I cannot find anymore the sounds/styles of the "EURODANCE" package.
Am I wrong?

Hi Simone,

yes, some S975 styles are missing on the SX900. But you can download ALL the S975 styles, copy them to an USB stick and/or to the SX900 User drive and use them on the SX900. (The S975 Audio styles can NOT be downloaded.)

Hi Simone,

the "EURODANCE" Expansion Pack for S970/S975 (.ppf format) can also be installed on the SX900.

OK,
the only concern is that since this pack is pre-installed into the PLUS section,
that specific pack needs to be purchased from scratch in order to get the expansion voices as well....

Maybe it is too early, Yamaha will throw some light on this...

The think the PLUS packs preinstalled in the S975 was just a "carrot on a stick" tactic to get people to buy the keyboard.  There is no mention of preinstalled packs for the sx keyboards in any of the Yamaha demos. If I'm wrong about that; someone please post a link.

thanks for your feedback!

I did not realize before, that many Voices of the PSR-S975 PLUS Contents are originally from S970 EURODANCE Pack.

And you are right: NONE of the Voices with MSB 049 from the S975 "PLUS Contents List" is available on the SX900 as Preset Voice. :(
