Hi :
I wonder if Yamaha's present SX prices will be lowered or not in a couple of months ?
The SX900 price = approx. 40% higher than the S975 price, right ?

The comparison of prices is not quite correct. People compare the current street price of the S975 ($1,750) to the RRP of the SX900. One should compare the RRP's of both at their introduction date, because in a year or so, the SX900 will decline, as you suggest correctly. The PSR-S975 had an RRP of $2,599 in Februari 2018. The SX900 has an RRP of $2,799. That's a difference of 7.7%. Not 40%.
If we extrapolate the price graph of the S975 (-32.7% in 18 months) to the SX900, it would be possible that the SX900 will reach a price of $1850-1900 in 2020 Q4.

So far in the UK it is looking like the price will be around the £2000 mark. I believe the 975 was around £190.00. Must wait and see.

Wow!! I just used the link to see what Yamaha's "list price" for the keyboard. They have it marked as $2799 USD. If you adjust for JUST 2% inflation, Yamaha is selling the PSR-SX900 for the exact same price that I purchased my PSR-S950.
Inflation is generally figured at 3.5%, so in reality, Yamaha is selling the PSR-SX900 for LESS than what my PSR-S950 cost. But I am also figuring Frank can still provide his Special PSR Forum Member priceing for this model ;)
