Title: A question about simulated amp features on S975
Post by: markchapman1976 on July 11, 2019, 09:46:34 PM
Hi guys with the amps feature where you can change sounds particularly well with guitars etc adding tons of DSp and simulated Classic amp sounds, can these be saved for playback using the saved song creator or can the sound only be modified "live" or on the fly? Thank you in advance. Mark.

To make the question more clear using a midi file can I change a guitar part using the above feature and have the exact sound saved in the midi after tweaking

Yes.

The S975 will save customized effect parameters in a MIDI song, in registrations, and in user voices.

However do be aware that since the S975 only has 4 insertion DSP blocks, if you try to use more that 4 in a song - or call up a panel voice after assigning DSP to song parts - one DSP assignment will be stolen from one of the song parts.
