I have the Yamaha Stagepas 400 and it's superb,

Niceonetidy I was a bit concerned about the 1.5" x 10 speakers and whether they would make the sound a bit treble biased and possibly lack mid range. I have not not heard one yet so what is your opinion?

Hi Murray, I tried the Stagepas K1 system at A C Hamilton's in Preston UK and was very impressed with them. The showroom was large and the K1 sounded very full and powerful but I decided against them as I would need two because I mix into stereo for my live gigs
I use a pair of active QSC K10's (1000 watts each) and have done for 8 years, they are brilliant and the series two's are out now which are 2kwatts each and a pair of them are about the same price as the Stagepas K1 and probably even cheaper in the States as QSC are based in California
I hope this is of some help
