Title: Music Finder Database - Turn off OTS & Midi
Post by: lilryu on June 11, 2019, 07:08:00 AM
Hi,

I'm currently using the Music Finder Database to store/recall styles for particular songs. Is there a setting where the OTS button can be turned off permanently when switching between the styles? When I switch between styles, the OTS button would automatically turn on again.

Second question is, can the music finder database respond to midi program change? I'm hoping to select a .pdf on my android/ipad and then have it call up a style/song in the music finder database.

Thank you!

The behaviour of turning on OTS after using the Music Finder, cannot be turned off, unfortunately.

And as far as I know, the MF cannot be controlled by MIDI. The best option is to save the MF setting, for a specific song, to a registration bank. Those you can control by MIDI.
