Title: Problem with chord output from BIAB
Post by: gmorrison on March 21, 2019, 09:49:30 PM
Hi folks. I recently purchased band in a box and I'm having trouble outputing the chords to PSR-S975. The chords coming into the PSR are tranposed -2 semitones. Weird.  BTW I followed the "BIAB plays the Tyros" tutorials. I'm still working on it but appreciate any advice. Also I'm really enjoying the forum.
Cheers! Gary

Update: Problem solved.
I tinkered around with this a bit more and found a solution. In the "Output Chords on Channel" tab, change the "Note Range to output" on the low end from the default of 36 to 38. (Note: I'm guessing this only works on 61-key arrangers).
Anyway the correct chords are now coming through fine on my S975! I hope this is helpful.  Cheers, Gary

Hi Babette, I'm using the latest BIAB 2019, build 625.
I just got it this week, so I'm just beginning to explore the software.
Are you using BIAB with a PSR series keyboard?
Cheers, Gary

gmorrison. BIAB is a great program, I've been a user back from the ATARI days. It does an excellent printout quality.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your fast reply.
In the past ( 15 years ago ) I worked with BIAB.

It is my intention to combine my T5 with BIAB but I need to buy a version that is applicable for BIAB and the T5/76.

I will do some research on the internet first to find out which version is usable. There are some good instruction video's available.

Best regards, Babette
