I'm trying to change some volume/voice/pan settings on a song that I recorded and am getting a "Memory Full" message. I can still record other parts to the song but can't edit anything in the Setup tab.
Thoughts/help?
Thanks!

Hi NASAMIKE,
is your "user memory" full of songs, midis, styles, voices etc?
Try to save the midi to the USB stick instead.
If you don't get that message there, make some free pace to the user area.

I've cleared a lot of it out. I'll try clearing the whole thing (except expansion packs and audio styles) and see what I get. The thing is I can get Song Creator to work on some other songs.
Thx,

From the manual:
Data capacity of a midi song:
approx. 300 KB/Song
Maybe your song has more KB?
But on the other hand 300KB is way too much for a midi.
I hope someone who knows this "Memory full" message will help you better.

i guess its the song size. This is 337kb. I had not noticed a restriction before. Seems quite an arbitrary restriction.

Probably they will have their reasons for several restrictions.
Although Keyboards and PCs both are using bytes, for working as they should they can handle them in a different way, I guess.
Usualy a normal midi song is about 30 kb
For example I have a medley song on my pc which is 273kb and 19 minutes long.
Try to reduce some orders, effects, voices or something like that to work around this restriction my friend.

Try making your alterations in the song record mode. Each track has an events page. 1-16. When done resave. I always find this a better way to do things.

Thx Eileen, that's got it!
