Title: Hello from Taiwan
Post by: yenlung on February 19, 2019, 03:15:22 PM
Hello, everyone! I am very happy finally officially joined this forum (after 10 years!)

My first arranger keyboard was a CASIO. I did learn how to play an arranger on that keyboard, but not satisfied with the sound quality. Since then, I had an urge to buy a YAMAHA arranger.

I finally got my first YAMAHA PSR while I went to University of California, Irvine for graduate study. I forgot which model I got, but that was the best YAMAHA I could got from Best Buy at that time.

I was happy for a while, but I wanted to get an even better one. So I sold my YAMAHA when I went back to Taiwan, and thought I would soon buy a new, excellent keyboard. That's about the time PSR-2100/3000 and I started to read the posts from this forum every now and then.

However, after 10 years later, I still had not bought any new PSR!

About four years ago, I thought that I was going to learn synth workstation, and just need a simple arranger, so I bought a NP-V80. While I was about to buy an workstation, I got a new job assignment and had been extremely busy.

Recently, I was finally "back to normal" life, and during these days, I figured a good arranger keyboard was still the best for me. Of course I wanted to buy a Genos, but I knew my wife will kill me.

I finally convinced my wife that I need a new keyboard, and I have received my PSR S975 just yesterday. So far, I am very happy with my new S975, but of course still have lots to learn.
