Title: SOLVED where are intructions on how to use effects?

I'm stumped.  where do I find instructions on how to add reverb to my vocals?  I don't want to add reverb to the overall sound, just the vocals.  I think.  On the other hand I may want to add an effect to the overall sound.  Where are the details on how this works?

reading the manual and articles on microphone settings that I had closed over in the past.  I still don't know everything I want to know but I'm getting closer.  I now have to sit down at the kb and play with it till I do know what is happening.
