Title: recording a tune to genos

Hi,
is it possible to record a song from a album and play the vocals on the genos and if so how

What format is the album in? If it's .wav or .mp3, just put it on a USB stick, and it should play.

If it's something else, convert it to .mp3 (using a program like Audacity) on your computer.

Hi Fred,
the album is on iTunes at the moment but if i convert it to mp3 it should play okay ?

Hi,
I load a .mp3 onto a usb stick under a folder named mp3 but when i insert the stick it shows the the folder but i can not see the song. how do i make it visible on the genos

You need to be looking for audio files. The name must be less than 50 characters long, and it must be in the right format: 16 bit, 44.1kHz, stereo.

Make sure to move the switch to Audio when you want to load an mp3 song.
If it is set to Midi, the file explorer won't show audio songs; it will only show Midi files.
