Title: Transposing Midi song playback, but not the keyboard
Post by: JanCK on January 21, 2019, 11:02:03 PM
Is there a way to transpose the playback of a MIDI song without also changing the keyboard key signature along with it?   For instance, the MIDI plays the song in D major, but I play it in Eb major.   In other words, I want the MIDI to play in Eb, while I also play in Eb, even though the MIDI was originally recorded in D.

Thanks!
Jana

Yes you can.
The process is similar to genos also.

Transpose the channels 1-9 & 11-16
(all channels except from the channel 10 which is usually the drums and for a midi that was made on the keyboard the drums are in channels 9 & 10).

Yes.

Menu2>Transpose>Song>+1
