I'm away from my Genos for a few months but I was trying to assist someone via phone on a "how to". I have forgotten how to take a left hand accompaniment voice and raise it up and octave or 2, then save it to a registration. With that said please refresh my memory on how to do that, Thanks!

Press Voice Select (the button above the Left button)
Press Menu (the three horizontal bars)>Voice Edit
Change Left to 1 or 2 (using the slider)
Now memorize to a registration.

Thank you both to Fred and Valimaties!

The problem I'm having with this is that, even though I make the octave change and save it, it often defaults back to where it was before I made the change. This can be in any voice. I can't figure out why, because I'm certain that I saved it properly.

Then post your registration so we can take a look at it for you.

I'm new at all this and have no idea how to post my registration. I fall into the category of a pianist who now has to turn into a techie person...it will be worth it, but it's a challenge, yet I'm learning some things. So, how does one post a registration, or please direct me to the answer if it's already somewhere else. Thanks!
-
Remember that when you select a registration bank, the keyboard loads a *copy* of that bank into the slots for buttons (1-10 on Genos).
When you memorize settings into a slot (1-10), this just changes the loaded copy of the registration bank. To make the change permanent, you must then also save the registration bank.

DerekA -- yes, I'm saving to both the buttons and to the final registration bank, which I've renamed as a song title.
Fred -- Even before I get to the step you gave, I need to get the registration onto a stick in order to get to that point! Yes, it's that bad :) I don't know how to transfer my registration settings to a stick. Please enlighten me, or direct me to where I might find instructions on the site, if possible.

Put your USB stick into keyboard. Now select the registration you want to copy. Now press File and select Copy. The screen will change Press copy again and select the USB stick you want to put it on. Press Copy Here.

Thanks very much, Eileen! Will try that as soon as possible.

If you're just dealing with one registration, simply load it and save it to the USB drive.
Saving to a USB drive is the same procedure as saving to the User drive.
