Title: Yamaha Expansion Manager Problem//
Post by: Normanfernandez on December 07, 2018, 04:03:43 PM
I want to set Wave 1 and Wave 2 ( to have equal volume) according to the velocity.

In this current setting ( Default )

Velocity 1 - 60 Ish goes from
Almost zero to Loud.  And 61 - 127 is Loud to Very Loud.

I can Adjust the Max Volume for the Higher Velocity for Each Wave.
But How can adjust the Volume

For lower Ranger Velocity
Say 1- 20

This Range Will Very Soft.

My 2nd Problem is.

IF i Hold the Note Down Any Note that Contains the Wave.

" Hold it Long Enough " the Sample Wave Starts Playing Again.

If you don't understand this Problem.
I'll break it down more.

Please Help
Regards Norman

Hi,
I think you can try to make each wave in a different element (wave 1 in element 1 and wave 2 in element 2) and put equal volume on  or mix them.

You can also mix elements from different voices which is great fun to do.

adding element 1 and 2 would make the voice play two Different wave files at the same time.

Which is different from what I want.

I want all the Wave files on a Single Note ( C3)
To have the Same Volume regardless of Velocity.

"I want all the Wave files on a Single Note ( C3)

You can remove touch sensitivity from the overrall voice (either in YEM or later in Voice Set) simply enough by setting the Touch Sensitivity Depth to 127.

"adding element 1 and 2 would make the voice play two Different wave files at the same time."

If that is the only objection (and bearing in mind  I do not understand from your first post what you are trying to achieve) you can put a copy of the same wav into both but you may need to pan them differently to avoid chorusing effects.
