My friend purchased a voice pack from Yamaha for his
Tyros 4.
He's trying to load it on to the Genos.
Is it possible?

If you purchased packs for Tyros 4 you should be able to download again for Genos. Just go to music soft account.

As Eileen said, he should be able to download from YamahaMusicSoft.com account.
But if they charge his basket, then he must mail them and automatically the purchased pack will be discounted 100 percent. The same thing happened to me with some bought packs.
First he can try load his purchased library to YEM. As they said, YEM can convert Tyros4 to Tyros5/Genos automatically. After he try and doesn't work, in this case he can mail Yamaha.
But I think it will work. Most of Tyros 2 to Tyros 4 bought packs works in YEM. There was some problems with custom packs from Tyros 4 to Tyros 5 conversion, but I think they solved them in the while...
