Post by: bernamato on November 21, 2018, 06:16:33 PM
Hi all, is it true that the preset voices have a lower volume than the other PSR S (970/775)? Who can help me?

I can't speak of the preset voices on the PSR-S975, because I've never played one.

But I can say that many preset voices on my PSR-E models do have low volume settings, and I would imagine the same is true for many other models.

For the most part the lower volume settings seem to be on certain types of voices, such as the XG voices or specific acoustic instrument voices such as the flute. It might be that the lower volume settings were deliberately chosen to help give certain voices a more authentic sound-- for instance, a flute doesn't have as loud or as strong of a sound as a trumpet.

But you can go into the voice settings and modify the voice's volume and other parameters as desired, then save the changes either as a Registration or as a User Voice.
