Does Yamaha USA offer free pack with Genos purchase or Can be downloaded free pack from anywhere else?

Anyone know if packs from Yamaha Europe website can be downloaded from USA ?

I was going to give it a try but do not know if it can be done and did not want to try if not allowed.

I still have to register my Genos.   I guess i will need the serial number, which is on the bottom of the keyboard.    They do not make it easy !

The serial number is also on the box. I always write this down for safe keeping.

Hi Al,

The serial number tag is placed in the middle along the keybed area at the bottom of the Genos.

To add your Genos to https://www.yamahamusicsoft.com you do not need the serial number of your Genos, you just need to add the Genos_InstrumentInfo.n27 file.

Procedure of exporting Instrument Info file (P. 151 of Genos Reference Manual versoin D):
Connect a USB flash drive to the top/front USB port of Genos.
MENU - Expansion -Export Instrument Info, follow the on-display instructions.

thanks so much for the information.

Thanks to your instructions i was able to copy the file from Genos and register it in the US Yamaha web site.

I will try to download the free packs, but i doubt it because it is from the Europe site.
