Title: Key contact rubber
Post by: faryzeus on October 08, 2018, 10:28:18 PM
Hello Friends
One of keys (A) at my PSR s750 were broken, the key doesn't sounds while touching.
I want to replace contact rubber. Could be so kind and give me an item number.
Best regards
janusz

Hello Janusz --

The part numbers for the keyboard rubber contacts are:

VU328401 KEYBOARD RUBBER CONTACT CT 2M 12KEYS
VU328501 KEYBOARD RUBBER CONTACT C' 2M 1KEY

The "1KEY" contact is for the high C.

Hope this helps -- pj

P.S. I recommend getting a copy of the S950 Service Manual because the key/contact mechanism is a little complex.

Hi Janusz,
The service manual is available on line on various sites.
The file is about 15 meg in size, so is too large for me to post here.

Below is a link for one of the sites.
https://www.scribd.com/doc/211967871/Yamaha-Psr-s950-s750-Sm

You can download it or read it on line.

After reading what you have to do to replace it, you may decide to get someone who services these keyboards to do the work for you.
Also, on YouTube you may find a video showing someone actually replacing these pads.

Good luck!
