Title: MFC10
Post by: dawn68 on September 27, 2018, 06:31:30 PM
Hi, Have read all I can find on mfc10 & with help from this forum & Yamaha tech. support have managed to connect five switches but when I had it connected to my Tyros5 I used another three switches, one for Registration advance, one for Rotary speaker & one for sustain but on the menu/midi/external controller page I can't see any mention of these, can anyone help please? I don't want to use Fill up or down just want to advance forward. Thankyou

When you in menu/midi/external tap on a function name you don't want to use, a screen with 14 pages off assignable functions popes up. On page 1 is the sustain and near the end off the 14 pages there are registration functions. After change the functions you have too save the settings.

Hi Bob, Thanks for your reply, have tried this & saved but no luck, tomorrow I'm going to contact tech. support at Yamaha & maybe just maybe (as I've already been in touch) they'll be able to tell me if I'm doing something wrong, thanks again.

Hi dawn68 witch CC# numbers you have the function changed?
Perhaps I can help you with programming the MFC10 switches for the new functions.

Hi Bob think we are writing on same web site but two different threads as I've just replied to you on the other, when you say Cc# numbers I will look tomorrow as I've just come in & will let you know, thanks for your time.
