The S975 is just an enhanced S970.  More expansion memory, more Voices, more styles and some shortcomings that were fixed that we hoped Yamaha could do by a firmware upgrade but could not do without rewriting the operating system code such as Mono legato, and saving Live Control settings in registrations.
