Title: How to cature/record the HDMI output?

I wonder if there is a device that can capture/record the HDMI output.

I have Etc Trio Display adapter to display the Genos HDMI output.
This works great, excepted the bouncing red dot.
Now I want to record the HDMI output.

I have tried to record the HDMI output with a Algato game capture HD.

Only the resolution from the Genos 600x800 is not recognized by the Algato device.

Any one a soluition for this.
