I cannot see the screen of psr 970 to external lcd monitor. I have connected a RGB to component RCA video (yellow) to LCD screen. I didn't see nothing. The LCD tells me NO MONITOR VIDEO
I bought this: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B01LXDQEO7/ref=pe_3310731_189395851_TE_dp_1
and this https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B073ZHXTC2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Please help me. Thanks

Hi Bernamato,
I've connected an external monitor to my PSR 970 and it really does help. (I got an old monitor from a second hand shop)
After connecting I went to FUNCTION then UTILITY then CONFIG 2 then switched the setting to LCD
There's a you tube video on this (First 6 minutes)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFt5jhaPud4&t=382s
It's from a guy called Woody who has done some great PSR970 videos
He does though say that some monitors don't work so well and I found this when I tried one I had in the house
Good luck though and hope this helps

Hope this helps

I saw the video. I don't understand why the configuration doesn't go when I connect converter from RGB to Component and this to monitor LCD.
Thank you kpblues any case.

Hiya,
In that case my only other suggestion would be to get a different cable connection.

Hi bernamato,
Yamaha PSR-S970 outputs 800x480 resolution through the VGA output. Not all the VGA to RCA adapters work properly, and that is why your setup does not work.
Your better option is to use an external LCD monitor with VGA input that supports at least SVGA, or 800x600 resolution. Most new LCD monitors with VGA and HDMI inputs scales 800x480 resolution properly to full screen.
Thanks,
Paul
