Yes, both functions are very easy to accomplish.

A Music Finder record can contain details of either a style, MIDI song or Audio file.

The easiest way to create a new record on your S950 in the current Music Finder is to select the file from the relevant selection screen and then use the 'ADD TO MF' button.

You can read about this in the section 'Registering a Song, Audio or Style File' starting on page 77 of the 'Owner's Manual'.

There is also information about editing existing MF records, and creating new ones from within the Music Finder itself in the section 'Editing Records', starting on page 73 of the 'Reference Manual' which can be downloaded from your local Yamaha site if you haven't already got a copy.

Regards

You can’t put registrations in your music finder. Only styles or midi files.

If the ‘Music Finder’ could save Registrations then it would be ‘Brilliant’
All my songs have a midi out to ‘SongBook, saved in registrations

Hope Yamaha will make a slight adjustment to Musicfinder and bring it up to date,
I’m surprised the S975 does not have this improvement
Then it would be worth the upgrade

You need to buy a Genos to get that capability.

Yes, it’s availible right now on the Genos

I’m just hoping that the next PSR will be a 61 note Genos lite,

For now I am happy with the S970 midied to a Ketron SD40
The Ketron has good lead voices

I may even purchase a Yammex V3,
It supposedly has superior sounds to Genos
I need to hear more demos first,
