Hi,
Unfortunately you need to import all of your Expansions all over again, there is no other way around.

In the future:
- Use a backup software (like Iperius, or other software) and make regularly back-up to %localappdata%\Yamaha\Expansion Manager folder. Upload that backup in Google Drive (or whatever hosting account do you have, mediafire, etc..)
- Make yourself the back-up, using 7zip or WinRar, or an archiver software, to the folder I said above, and upload regularly to a hosting data server.
When an installation crushes, or a PC crushes, you will have the identical copy of your packs installed before crush. If something like this will happening (crush), you will have to reinstall Yamaha Expansion Manager, which will create default instance in Program Files. Use the backup archive data and replace folder in %localappdata%\Yamaha with that from archive. Thats it.

I understood for the first time...
I quote myself ...

I gave the solution for the future, not for now. For now the only solution is to reimport in YEM all your packs.
Now you have a little problem with your LSB of your packs. But you can rearrange, in newlly YEM installed instance, by check/verify the custom packs you already have installed in your keyboard and put the ppf pack in the same position.
Example:
You have a custom pack "X1"... You don't know which LSB position it has to be on YEM. So, you first click on a voice on keyboard's touch screen. Open the Expansion folder. Identify the installed X1 pack and open that folder. Look at the MSB-LSB-PC on voices and memorize it. Go to YEM and change the order of the imported pack to be on the same LSB which you have memorized.

I understand you never did a backup copy of your content in other place than your PC?! :o
I have at least 4 backups:
- one stick I use in my Genos
- one stick I use a backup for my other stick on Genos
- an external HDD (portable Samsung HDD 1TB)
- My account of Google Drive.
Sorry to hear that you don't have backups.
Maybe your only solution is to send the ppi to Yamaha to extract all packs inside and give to you back, but I think they will not do that for you! Yamaha is very restrictive when it comes to give something to users...
Off topic: I spoke yesterday with a Yamaha music-worker from my country. I'm very disappointed about what I heard, what Yamaha thinks about arrangers, and why they don't let us make complex things as they make on keyboards... :( :-\ Everything is about money. Very sad.

What you want to tell me with this video?!
Man, you said you have the ppi file. The ppi file is the installation file (compiled ppf) for installation in workstation. The ppi file you cannot import it in YEM. Also, the ppi file you cannot convert it to ppf. Also, the ppi file you cannot extract to exactly configuration you have before compiled it!
The ppi is only for install in keyboard. That's all.
I know what means ppi, cpi, ppf, cpf... I know some "unknown" things which a usual user does not know about YEM and Yamaha Arranger keyboards...
Best luck with conversion!

I answered in above post! 8)
Try to send the ppi file to Yamaha, and if you have inside paid packs, you have to send them from the email address from your Yamaha Music Soft account, to be eligible! Even if you dont have paid packs (premium packs, voices, and so on) it is better to send them from your email addres which you used to make account on Yamaha Music Soft site.
Wait for answer from them, check what they say! () I think ppi is a big file, so you have to send a link for that file uploaded to a host service.

Solution: Get rid of YEM and forget the premium packs. Lloyd
