Is there an easy way to back-up without using "iTunes"?

iCloud . . . . 

set up iCloud backup on your iPad.    it is very easy and it is also very easy to restore from the latest backup if/when needed.

I searched the latest 3.2 User Manual for iCloud
No mention, just iTunes,
I hope I will never have to go to iTunes again.
I have iCloud 50GB, I will look the setup now,

If you set it up to do so, iCloud will backup your entire iPad not only SongBook+.  iCloud will create a clon of your iPad contents.   

I recently had an iPad crashed and replaced.  Fortunately, i had set up iCloud backup and was able to restore everything to the new iPad including SongBook+.   It restored all the songs, PDF's, links to Genos. Annotations, etc.
