Good evening to everyone. I'm new to the Genos forum and I'm not practical but I love playing and making music.
I wanted to know if it is possible to transform midi files into styles as it happens on Korg PA4X
Thank you all

Not on the keyboard.
There are PC programs available if you poke around in the Utilities section.

Hi just had word from Klaus
EMC STYLEWORKS will be updated In the next three months
It Is Not dead
THis is by far the easiest program to make a style from midi, but will cost £100 or near to that.
I made some good styles on the Tyros 5 with Styleworks. Now with the Genos it is not compatible

Good news. :)
It's a year or two since I last was in contact with Klaus, and since there has not been any updates for quite a long time, I was wondering if there will be any new updates at all.
Also if look into the 'latest information page' at the EMC website, the last message sounds like this:
"Latest information
We are currently working on the update for Ketron Audya; this is still going to take some time as the many audio and midi loops are a big challenge for the conversion to other keyboards.
Next on schedule after this is the Tyros 3 format; so we will finally be up-to-date with all current keyboards within shortly hopefully"
A couple of years has gone by sice then .... ;)

Hi
The reply from Klaus for Genos, 4 to 6 weeks from July7th
They have been on a large project which probably earns more for them I would say
EMC never update their site.
My updates are always a link that was sent to me and i keep going back to link to check the latest if any.
Still on 4.83 2016

Still waiting for a reply from Klaus
Looks like the program has finished
Wellover six weeks have passed now and nothing.

XT Version 4.93 up and running.
I can see PA4X is added in the Korg section, but not discovered any news in the Yamaha part......
-
Yes, it is running (with bugs...)... the last Yamaha keyboard for SFF2 is still Tyros 4.
I have checked some of parameters, and it not read correctly (ie: KeyMap read incorrect in CASM section)
As a bug, the Style window closed unexpectedly when I changed from SFF to SFF2.
PS: Sorry for off-topic :) .
Regards,
Vali

Vali, you can report the bug to Klaus, he will probably apreciate it, and fix it if possible.

Hi
Klaus has done the maps for Korg and released them.
The maps are going in now for the Tyros 5 and Genos
Next week they should be out.
I like EMC Styleworks as It is pain free bringing a midi file to CM7
It did have bugs when on Tyros 5 ,but Styleworks was not updated for that.
I will give my verdict once the updates are out.
The reason EMC Syleworks was not updated is because Klaus was Into a bigger project which I suppose is his main job.
Yes the program cost enough and deserves a free upgrade IMO and again all magic comes with a price!! ;D
All the best
John :)
