Title: voice assignment in a MIDI song

In PSR-s770 is it possible to assign a different voice for each of the 16 channels of a MIDI song .

Yes, it should certainly be possible. And if the song needs more than 16 voices in total, but only 16 at a time, you can even insert voice changes in a channel-- e.g., use an acoustic grand piano for the first several bars of a channel, then switch to an electric piano on that channel for several bars, then switch back to an acoustic grand piano, etc.

Track 10 is always assigned to drums but track 9 can be asigned to a different vioce.
