Title: Vary termpo at the end of song.
Post by: Kenneve on March 14, 2018, 12:05:02 AM
Hi Guys
I there any way to slow down the tempo, for the last bar or two of a song., on my CVP605.
Or alternatively modify an 'Ending' to get the same effect.
I note that many tunes slow down as the song finishes and I would like to achieve a similar effect.

On the PC, you can use MixMaster:

Depress File Open button to open the file.

Depress List View button and select Process Events menu item and Slow Tempo function.

Depress SaveAs button to store the file to a new file name.

There is also a adjustable version of this function on the Process Event menu.

Regards,

Michael

Just hit the ending button twice. That will produce a ritard.

However, my experience is that most songs don’t ritard, they change tempo. To do this, I use an extra registration or two with the slower tempos.

Hi Fred
They do say, " If all else fails, then read the book,"
Many thanks for your reply, the ritard does seem to do what I wanted. :)
