Hi ..

What is the nearest to start with? .. Pedal Guitar? ...
I want that Pink Floyd DSOM sound!

Alternatively, I'm thinking something inside the Premium Country Soundpack!  Anyone using it?

Or anyone have a sample of some sort?

Yup. Using their guitars, banjo and the pedal steel.

Is the Pedal steel any better than onboard Genos version?
Anything else to use as a basis for Slide Guitar sound?

Good question. On Tyros 5 the pedal steel in the Country pack was better but I haven't compared it to the new Genos one. It could very well be that Yamaha just moved the one in the pack over to the Genos internal sounds. Don't know about slide guitar.

I just reloaded the Country pack, Genos version.  I had purchased it for my Tyros 4.

It’s a wonderful addition and I had forgotten about it.
