Title: PSR 770.....USB "disk error" intermittent.
Post by: joeloss1 on January 26, 2018, 04:53:20 PM
Hi Folks,
I make my own backing tracks on the 770 then store on USB to use for my occasional live sax playing.
The " disk error " has popped up once or twice at home but today several times whilst out playing.....aaaghhh !
It worked properly after selecting USB-SONG- TRACK on 3rd attempt.
Just wondered if this is likely to be a USB stick fault or at the keyboard connection......I have used this USB stick many times without problems before (same tracks/midi files...nothing altered).
Thanks.
John.

Hi,

In order to protect back USB keyboard connection I usual use a short USB cable to avoid too many in/out directly on the keyboard.
Probably you must to don't use that stick (connection or integrity of memory stick will be solved) change it.
If still have this problem, probably it is the keyboard (mother) connection.
If you use midis file keep them on the user memory, at least for out playing, you have space for a lot of files.
