Title: Request Tyros 5 Music Finder Files for Genos

  When I sold my Tyros 5 I neglected to save the music finder files. Could someone post
a link or where I might find a copy?  Thank you. Bob

  Thank you Paul.  I read somewhere that the Music Finder List can easily be transferred
to the Playlist features on the Genos.  Hopefully that is the case.  Bob

See page 105 of the reference manual.  Your MFD files will be imported as registrations, one Music Finder File selection will activate/light the #1 registration button.  One note you should be aware of and that’s although the files are imported they are not in alphabetical order and there is not a way to sort them that I know of using the keyboard.  For whatever reason each song title has a four digit number placed in front of each song title.

  Thank you Stephen. I had looked in the reference manual  but  hesitated to give it a try.
Should I create a folder specifically for the MFD   files or are they assigned to an exisitng
one?  Bob

Bob, You could create a folder.  My suggestion would be place your MFD file in a folder, once you run the conversion your MFD entires would then be placed in the folder you created.
