Title: New PSR Owner
Post by: OregonJim on December 28, 2017, 07:22:19 AM
Hello everyone!

I'm a new owner of a Yamaha PSR-EW400.  My first instrument was a Yamaha Electone B-4 organ in the early 1970's.  There have been dozens of others (from many different companies) in between.  My stage instrument is currently a Roland RD-2000, but I got the PSR for more informal gatherings and easier portability.  The only other Yamaha I own at the moment is another Electone organ - an HE-6.  If the arranger features of the EW400 agree with me, I'll probably upgrade to a Tyros of some sort in the future.  We'll see...

Welcome.  I've been looking at maybe getting a EW 400.  I like the idea of 76 keys for only 299.  Will be looking forward to your comments about the board.

Thank you.

Sweetwater called today to tell me the EW400 is now shipping - I should have it next week.

Hi Jim,

There appears to be very few forum members in Oregon. May I ask where you are located? I am in Salem.

Thanks,

- Royce

Thank you!  The one-man-band style of playing is new to me (hence the small outlay to test the waters) - but I'm getting too old to do the group thing these days, fun as it was. ;)
