Post by: Joe W on December 10, 2017, 11:12:15 PM
I am very happy to announce our newest PSR Performer - Toril Susegg (https://psrtutorial.com/perf/torilSusegg.html). Toril, (Toril S in the forum) is from Norway and has long played on her PSR-2100 but recently moved up to the PSR-S970. She launches her page with 11 original compositions. You will also find some of Toril's songs in the 2017 Christmas Jukebox (https://psrtutorial.com/xmas/index.html).  Take a look at Toril's page, read her story, and enjoy her music!

Congratulations and welcome as a PSR Performer, Toril.  I've enjoyed listening to many of your songs and original compositions in the past and I'm sure I'll enjoy many more of your performances in the future, also.  :)

Merry Christmas to you, your family and all of your friends.  :)

Hey Toril.....just a big welcome from one of the other females on the Performer's Page.  We're definitely in the minority - but I like it that way!  I think I've mentioned to you before about my Norwegian Grandmother.  You live in a beautiful country and I'm sure the long winters are much more enjoyable as you're able to sit at the keyboard "indoors" and enjoy your passion for music!

Hi Torril,

That's some nice playing there. I take it that just like me are more or less forced to do it by ear without trying to follow any sheet music?

well done!

Peter

Janet, Wally, Peter and Hans: Thank you so much for welcoming me and commenting so positively! Much appreciated. Janet, yes, winter is a good time to sit at the keyboard, allthough I have to go out several times a day with my two dogs. Peter: Yes, I am playing by ear, even the big sheet music stuff is to small for my eyesight. When I compose a song, I just have to remember it. It helps to make a MIDI file, and then work on the song till I am satisfied. Hear and see you shortly :)
