Title: expansion voices from T5 for Genos

Anyone knows if the expansion voices that we all bought along the time, we can 'transfer' them to Genos?

The tyros 5 Expansion will be convert for the new genos until April 2018. Atleast the
 Officials Packs from Yamaha Musisoft. I saw in a post a link to yamaha website with the release date.

You don't have to pay again for previously purchased content. Even the Tyros 5 Audio Style packs will be converted to those Genos REVO drums.

So far I have seen no slip ups from Yamaha. They did put a lot of time and effort into the launching of the Genos, keeping all bases covered and making sure previous content and previous features are intact, up-gradable or compatible.

The details in the all the official Genos pdf manuals and data specs would be nice to know. Sooner would be better. Lots of questions and concerns to still be answered. So far I am very pleased.

I have many ppf for my s970. I hope many of them work for the Genos. At least the third party expansions from Easysounds and CMS are not limited to one specific model.

The voice pack for Yamaha are going to have to be converted for use on Genos and the first ones will take place this year. You will then be able to download again for free your purchases and load in to the new YEM version that will come out shortly.

Hi - so, have any voices or "expansion voice packs" been converted?  Some are shown on Yamaha's schedule as being ready in Nov 2017 and Dec 2017, but I have not heard anything from Yamaha about any being made available yet???

Thanks; will give that another try.  I had tried that a couple of weeks ago, but had trouble finding the exact place to download the Genos versions of the packs that are released.  Will try again!

If the Genos version is not available yet, you can just install the Tyros5 version of a pack.

I've installed SA2 Panflutes from the T5 in the Genos and it works. The official Genos version of this pack will be available January 2018.

The expansion packs you purchased from Easy Sounds for your S970 will work on the Genos.
