Title: T4 Anniversary Subwoofer and sound problems
Post by: Turracoo on July 13, 2017, 04:52:34 PM
Hi Folks,
I've just recently replaced my PSR S770 with a T4 Anniversary but so far I'm not impressed with the sound. I seem to have an intermittent subwoofer problem, it occasionally stops working, the satellite speakers still work just no bass, it will eventually start working again after fiddling with the volume controls on the sub, possibly a slack/dry connection somewhere?
Also the volume seems very low, I've got all parts set at 100% volume and it just doesn't seem very loud compared to my S770, full volume is about the same as what my S770 is when it was at half volume, also occasionally the right hand volume seems very low compared to the style volume ie organ flutes.
I maybe just need to spend time with it but so far missing my 770
any advise appreciated (or offers to buy !!!)
Thank you

Brian

You may have faulty leads. Worth checking.

Thank you Eileen,
I've been adjusting some of the EQ & compressor settings which seems to have helped the volume side and I've ordered a new subwoofer lead to see if that helps the crackling, I think I'll be going for a small PA set up shortly, but always good to know what I've got already works just in case,
Really appreciate the reply.
Take care

Brian
