Title: Expression Pedal changes to sustain
Post by: Lloyd E on October 03, 2015, 02:01:11 PM
How do you setup the expression pedal to stay as a expression pedal? It keeps changing to a sustain pedal. Hopefully someone has the answer for me. Thanks in advance.    LE

 Hi there,

While you're waiting for expert help, does anything in this post help:

Might help to give more details: keyboard model, pedal, lead / adaptor, etc?

  best regards,
  Jack

I'm assuming you mean after a power off.

This is normal behavior. The standard solution is to create a registration which has the settings you want (a "setup" registration).  Then load this every time you power on.

Is there no way to save the pedal assignment as to volume so the keyboard always come on with the volume setting? PSR S970

If there was, we would have said so. The Genos has this feature if you’re inclined to upgrade.
