What, if anything, do you miss about the t4?
What, aside from 76 note version, did you gain with the T5?
Does the new t5 ensemble feature, in practice.. on a gig, really improve the horn section?
What "architectural" differences, if any, would be significant for me to know about if I upgrade to t5?
Thanks

There are a lot of articles on the internet that dive right into the t4 vs. t5. question
Having had both I can truly say that the t5 upgrade from t4 is worth it.
If anything, you will be getting a newer board, which in itself is worth the jump.

The T5 is also YEM compatible. But to install the expansion packs you will need a special memory card. T5 also have 500 gb of harddrive space. But aT5 is now going on nine years old. So I would consider the Genos. 😀

If you want better voices, lighter weight to lug around, and 76 keys, you want a Genos.

Yes that is the way to go.

Ensemble mode is nice; I literally only use it in 2 songs though (Raiders March and Star Trek VI)
The drums, choirs are the same. The ensemble strings are the same (but there are many more options for solo strings on the T5). There are more Super Articulation 2 sounds on the T5.
The T5 has twin guitars (ultra wide image by panning the individual pickups for each string) T4 doesn't.
T5: 76 key option. Compatibility with Chord Tracker. Audio styles. 500 gb (vs 320gb) HD.
But to me, it's especially what Toril said:
You can add samples on the T5. You no longer can with the T4. That's a *huge* difference.
