Title: Legato problem
Post by: valimaties on November 18, 2019, 08:31:31 AM
Hi.

In 1.41, when I play legato, the expression of second key pressed is not bond by the first key pressed. In version 2, it is.

Example: if I press lightly the C key and I play legato with D key, but D key is hard pressed, the D key it takes C key's expression. Which is not normally!

Someone else encountered this?

Hi Vali,

I would say that the new version sounds more natural to me. Is it not? You liked it the way before?

Hi Uli.

Legato does not have to affect expression of the keys pressed/played ;)
Or maybe someone who has not installed 2.0, or has returned to 1.41, it tells me how the expression of the second key pressed is affected by the first key pressed. :(
I'm tired, so maybe I'm wrong! :(

Hi Vali,

did you notice that there is a new Legato option "Crossfade" now?

Maybe this option is what you are looking for.

Best regards,
Chris

Yes, I've saw it. But, it makes the same thing with expression, it sounds different in the header of the sound, but the expression is the same.. Maybe I'm wrong about how it was before, I don't know!

Cheers,
Vali
