So our SX900 has a 1GB flash drive, aka The User Drive.
I'm wondering a couple of things -
- Is there any advantage of the user drive vs a USB thumb drive inserted into the back of the PSR?
- Can I transfer audio files directly from Windows PC to PSR User Drive? Do I have to use a USB drive anyway to transfer the files?
I'll be transferring audio loops and samples for use with the multipads.

1. The user drive is faster. And it can't get lost like USB drives can.
2. Yes, assuming the SX works like Genos. Conect to the PC in "USB Storage Mode" by powering on holding down the Playlist button. Use a printer cable to connect the keyboard to the PC (the USB to Host port on the keyboard, any USB slot on the PC). The User drive will look like an external hard drive to your PC.

Don't confuse the 1Gb of memory with user memory. The 1Gb flash memory is for storing voice packs loaded from the YEM into keyboard only. The User drive is only around 4Gb and some will be used for accessing the packs you may use so it is advisable to use a large USB stick if you are wanting to store things like Audio files. I use a 32Gb.
