Title: How do you disable internal speakers on PSR-S775?
Post by: Gibby60 on January 19, 2019, 12:10:14 AM
When recording, I just want to hear the monitors. The Volume control on the 775 controls the output volume as well, so it's loud when recording. How do I mute internal speakers?

Hello Gibby60, press the function button, when you open the screen press the utility item, then CONFIGURATION1 and CONFIGURATION2 appear, press CONFIGURATION2, and press deactivate speakers. then you can only listen to your keyboard through headphones. Hans

Or just use a plug in the earphone socket😀

Thank you both, both solutions have their place.

Actually, you have to set up the headphone cancellation. Mine did not silence the board until I went into functions and changed it.

Just got my 775 and tried this.  Plugging in earphones did mute the internal speakers (Evidently headphone switch enabled is shipping default).   The external speakers I am using (logitech Z623) are not muted. The config menu speaker on/off also only muted the built in speakers.  The volume control does control both ext and int spkrs as usual.
