Thought that I would make this a new post for all.
PSR SX700.
Menu, Reg Freeze, tick Pedal box. (and any other ones you may want.)
This is Unticked by default!
Now the pedals will stay where you have set them even when you load in a 3rd party reg. (I hope ::) :-\)
Anyway, it is working for me.
