PSR SX-900 Sub volume linking to main volume
« on: May 07, 2024, 10:50:58 AM »
Greetings all,

I just received SX900 with a complementary Subwoofer(KS SW100). Need help with setting up the volume on that.

So, I have gone to the menu and assign Kick drum and Bass guitar to the Sub, which is all fine and working and I get the Kick and Bass from the Sub and the rest from the keyboards speakers, very nice to have the sub. Sub is connected to Sub out (LR) on the back of the keyboard.

Now, when I turn the volume up/down on the keyboard, it does NOT turn the volume of the sub up/down.

Is it possible to link the volume that way pls?

Other option I was thinking of was to assign one of the rotary assignable to Sub out volume, that also I can't work out.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello friend!
The best way to use it is to connect to the "Main output L/R". This way you can control the volume using the main button.
However, if you want to use the "Sub output" outputs to control the volume, you must pass the sound through a "Mix"
(We call it a soundboard in Brazil) and only then take the signal to the KS SW100.

I hope you understand
